Group Study Exchange (GSE)

What is GSE?

The Group Study Exchange (GSE) program is a unique cultural and vocational exchange opportunity for young business and professional men and women 25 to 40 years of age and early in their professional lives. The Rotary district may provide travel grants for GSE teams to exchange visits between paired Rotary Districts in different countries. For approximately 2-4 weeks, team members experience the host country's institutions and ways of life, observe their own vocations as practiced abroad, develop personal and professional relationships and exchange ideas.

In April 2020, the District is supporting the believed to be first ever cultural exchange of First Nations young professionals. Our Wiradjuri nation will be visiting the South Dakota (USA) American Indian Tribal communities of the Lakota-Sioux nations.

The Team Leader is proud Wiradjuri Rotarian Donna Murray (RC of Canberra, D9710, soon to be merged with D9700 to form the new District 9705) who is working with PDG Michael Milston to put together this team.
