MUNA simulates the workings of the United Nations Assembly by having teams of secondary students represent UN nations in debates on matters of world political and social concern. The programme builds bridges of goodwill for world peace through encouraging young people to learn respect and tolerance for people of all races, religions and nationalities. Committee Tasks: • To promote the MUNA programme within D9705 Rotary Clubs • To run the annual D9705 MUNA project • To support a team of participants to the National MUNA project Chair: • To ensure that the Committee and volunteers have been trained in Youth Protection procedures and the protocols are followed.
