In the event of an incident the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) will be constituted with one member from each appropriate field to take up management of the incident at District level, liaising with the appropriate agencies and supporting the DG in communicating with media and those directly impacted by the incident. Preferably the CIRT will include members with specific competencies in Rotary, policing, media liaison, law and social work. The District Youth Protection Officer and the District Youth Team Leader will be ex-officio members of the CIRT.
